As early as 2007, the welding robot known as intelligent manipulator appeared in Sany excavator production line.
In 2012, Sany Heavy Industry established the world's largest and most advanced excavator production base in Shanghai Lingang Industrial Park. The welding robots were put into use on a large scale. Looking forward, hundreds of robots were each doing their own jobs, busy with cutting, welding, painting or gluing, and they were all good at one or five.
The efficiency of a welding robot is about the same as that of four or five welders, which greatly improves the efficiency. As a result of standardizing the management, the efficiency of the whole production system is further improved.
At the same time, the use of welding robots has greatly improved the stability of the products. The service life of Sany excavator has roughly doubled, and the after-sales problems have decreased by three quarters.
Not only that, the use of robots reduces the number of workers, and the focus of management mode is shifted from the original manager to the management equipment, which is relatively easier to manage.
